Designed for Mr. K and his family, A Beautifully Completed Home for Family Gatherings is a residential project completed by Soken Home in July 2014. Located in Japan, this house offers a warm LDK with tatami for family gatherings.
Design
This residence is built at the wife’s request to be able to feel the presence of her family. Mr. K gives his commitment to every detail of this house, a gift of sensibility without compromising on livability and beauty.
Interior
The LDK in this family house is completed with a large tatami to create a warm atmosphere. There are also built-in bookshelves on the wall added for the daughter who loves reading. Each person can spend an enjoyable time in the open family space.
The discerning kitchen is full of wood (wooden kitchen storage and wooden kitchen island). There is also a small wooden deck where the family can enjoy the outside view.
The result of this project is a beautifully completed home with a sense of accomplishment created by everyone. This result finally can be achieved after repeated trial and error with the construction home site supervisor and craftsmen.
