Design
There is a clear and logical series of spaces on the floors of this house. These floors are linked by an axial corridor and stair that lined with a translucent channel glass wall to allow the client to enjoy the outside views easily. The entry, a guest bedroom, living, dining, and kitchen can be found on the ground floor.
Spaces
With stunning views to the exterior, the main living space offers floor-to-ceiling glazing so the client can see the beautiful exterior outside the house. An oak ceiling rises from the dining area to create a double-height space that illuminated by a skylight above the fireplace in the living area.
Materials
The master bedroom with study and two additional bedrooms are located on the upper floor. There is also a stepped deck with awesome views of the pool and terrace, leading to the upper rooftop sundeck. The exterior cladding of this house is made from a distinctive Alaskan yellow cedar siding that complemented by mahogany for the house decks.
