Completed in 2006, Sprecher is a residential project by SAOTA Architecture and Design. It is a holiday home located on a rugged Cape coastal peninsula, South Africa. This house offers the qualities of a refined, homely getaway with open bedroom suites and stunning landscape views.
Design
This house provides a modern and elegant retreat for holiday with stunning views of the sea and mountain. It captures the qualities of a refined, homely getaway which is also comfortable. The house plan in this project allows the bedroom suites of the house to open into the living areas.
Rooms
A transparent center in this house allows one to enjoy the mountain and sea views outside. In the living area, interior elements such as color materials dominate the interior surface. The use of different materials also can make this house looks more natural. In the kitchen, the combination of wooden chairs and elegant silver elements able to create an awesome highlight.
Details
It is a holiday house where the interior spaces are designed as open as possible to create a sense of freedom. Through the glazed walls and doors, the amazing views of the site landscape can be seen from inside the house, especially in the living area and terrace.
