seventyF has completed Villa Stamerbos architecture and design in 2013. Located in the Netherlands, the main idea of this project is to unite outdoor and indoor elements. The grey facade is also designed to represent the color of the Dutch sky.
Architecture
Public and private are two contradictory domains but they work well together in this villa. Social media, working from home, and ‘outdoor becomes indoor’-architecture are intermingling increasingly. It looks like there is no boundary at all.
Facade
It looks like there is no boundary at all but actually, it does. From the outside, this villa seems to disappear into its natural surroundings. The grey facade of the villa offers the color of the Dutch sky with a small window on the first floor. There is also a recessed entrance on the ground floor.
