Volkswagen recently launched its first convertible crossover model T-Roc Cabriolet, which is scheduled to be ready and delivered to dealers in Germany soon with a price tag starting at € 27,495.
Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet is claimed to a combination of the best convertible genes and models of sport utility vehicles (SUVs) in the form of driving pleasure with usability and striking design.
Although able to accommodate 4 passengers, the car is only equipped with two doors. This design also makes the T-Roc Cabriolet look even more sporty and elegant.
The carmaker claims that various elements including a rollover protection system and an increasingly strong windshield frame are designed to ensure maximum safety of the T-Roc Cabriolet. For safety features, Volkswagen has embedded auto emergency braking with pedestrian detection, post-collision braking, and lane assist.
The fully automatic electro-hydraulic soft top forms the main element of the T-Roc Cabriolet, which can open in 9 seconds, even when the vehicle is traveling at 30 kilometers per hour. And, a sophisticated soft top only takes 11 seconds to close.
The dimensions of the convertible have a length of 4268 mm and a width of 1,811 mm. As a result, the vehicle is 34 mm longer than the T-Roc with a standard body.
The T-Roc Cabriolet is equipped with two engine options, the entry-level TSI OPF 1.0 engine producing 85 kW / 115 PS, and the 1.5 TSI ACT OPF sporting engine with an output of 115 kW / 150 PS. The manual transmission comes with a 6-speed transmission while the automatic one has a 7-speed.
A variety of the latest generation infotainment systems also ensure the driver and the passenger feel comfortable. ESIM has been integrated to ensure vehicle connectivity is always connected while We Connect allows the use of Wi-Fi hotspots, streaming media, and internet radio.
This infotainment system on the Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet is supported with a screen measuring 8 inches. For those of you who want a wider screen, there is also a choice of screens with a span of 11.7 inches.
