Ford tuner Roush teams up with a military and police outfitter to put the Swiss Army Knife among the pickups on the 20-inch wheels, the result is the 2020 ROUSH F-150 that is refined in capability.
The car is based on the F-150 in the lariat equipment designed for maximum practical benefit. It comes exclusively with logos of the label, which has long been more than a pure clothing manufacturer.
The tuner also donates its F-150 grille with company logo and LED lights, entry lighting that throws the Roush emblem on the floor when the doors are open, and also illuminated fender flares.
There is a panel for the front bumper and Roush has a solid bracket for the front area of ​​the loading area. On request, this chase rack can be equipped with additional lighting that should turn night into day.
The Ford experts are furnishing the interior with new instruments, other carpets, a panel for the center console, and various badges. There are also leather covers for the seats, which in addition to the Roush logo also show the US flag.
The 2020 ROUSH F-150 gives the Ford F-150 a tactical advantage, above all, by increasing its performance. Roush naturally only grabs the pickup in the version with a five-liter V8 engine and gives it his TVS R2650 compressor system.
The power increases from 400 to 659 hp, the maximum torque increases from 542 to 827 Newton meters. The inflated V8 releases its exhaust gases to freedom via an active exhaust system, the two tailpipes of which protrude from behind the right rear wheel under the loading area.
The exhaust allows the four tones Touring, Offroad, Sport, and Custom, which can be activated from the cockpit. In the latter, iPhone owners can use the app to create their engine and exhaust sound.
To complete the technology upgrade, Roush gave the Ford F-150 an off-road suspension developed together with the specialist Fox, which increases both ground clearance and suspension travel.
The tuner encases the naturally black-painted 20-inch rims with ATX off-road tires from the General Grabber brand and slapped the 2020 ROUSH F-150 a price tag of $ 31,000.
