One of the new mid-range Lexus SUVs gets a complete makeover. Not just a facelift, the new generation Lexus NX was officially introduced. Dubbed 2022 Lexus NX, the lineup is planned to set a new standard in the luxury crossover market.
Platform
The second generation of Lexus NX was developed using the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform which is also used by the Toyota RAV4. The development of this car is also bearing the concept of ‘Vital x Tech Gear’ which combines dynamism and advanced technology.
Although the appearance is still similar to the early model of NX, a new aura emanates from the spindle grille design. Then there is also the absence of the L logo on the back which has been replaced with the Lexus emblem.
The interior design has completely changed, following the appearance of the latest new Lexus cars. But the most striking innovation is the large 14-inch head unit that supports Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
Not to forget there are also navigation and web browser features, then a fully digital instrument panel, head-up display, ambient light, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, and 17 Mark Levinson speakers.
Powertrain
The latest Lexus NX comes with four different engine options. The standard variant, the NX 250 gets a naturally rolex replica triple aaa aspirated (NA) A25A-FKS four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2,487 cc which is claimed to have 205 hp and 250 Nm of torque.

The NA engine is available with front-wheel drive (FWD) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD), while the turbo engine is available with AWD drive. To transmit power to the wheels, Lexus uses an 8-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission.
Electrified
In addition to the combustion engine, the 2022 Lexus NX also comes with two electrified versions, the NX 350h Hybrid and the NX 450h + Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV).
The two electrified versions of the Lexus NX are equipped with a 2,487 cc four-cylinder engine combined with the Toyota Hybrid System II (THS II) hybrid system. The hybrid system has one or hermesreplica.to two electric motors capable of producing up to 242 hp for HEV and 305 hp for PHEV.
Features
As for features, the Lexus NX is the first to use the latest touchscreen infotainment system that has ‘Hey Lexus’ voice control, cloud navigation, and supports Wireless Apple CarPlay.
Not only that, but the 2022 Lexus NX is also connected to the owner’s smartphone through the Lexus Link application. Lexus NX safety features are also increasingly sophisticated thanks to the third generation Lexus Safety System +, Extended Safety Package that provides Front Cross Traffic Alert, and e-Latch with Safe Exit Assist.
