Launched on the market a year ago, Master & Dynamic MW07 premium wireless earbuds received an update. In this shape of the successor dubbed Master & Dynamic MW07 Plus, Master & Dynamic presents several improvements that make it even more tempting.
MW07 Plus is the direct successor to the earphones they released last year. The design is the same, still with a box-shaped case made of acetate material, as well as its charging case that still relies on stainless steel construction. In terms of aesthetics, this device does not need much improvement.
What needs to be improved is its performance, specifically the MW07 battery life that is classified as very short: 3.5 hours in a single charge while the charging case is only able to supply extra power equivalent to 10.5 hours of use. In this aspect, MW07 Plus comes with significant improvements.
The Master & Dynamic MW07 Plus is claimed to be able to operate for 10 hours nonstop, while the charging case is designed to fully charge the device up to three times, which means the total durability is around 40 hours.
The company doesn’t stop there an improve the charging time. The Master & Dynamic charging process is very fast, in 15 minutes, the charging process can lift the battery to 50% capacity, while to reach 0-100%, the products only takes 40 minutes.
As for sound quality, MW07 Plus still relies on the same 10 mm diameter Beryllium driver, but each earpiece is now equipped with a pair of noise reduction mic to capture the user’s voice more clearly. Just as its predecessor, each MW07 Plus earpiece can also be operated independently.
The active noise-cancellation is also one of the excellent features of MW07 Plus. Now, there is an Ambient Listening Mode feature that is designed so that the users can be more alert and sensitive to the surrounding conditions.
The Master & Dynamic MW07 Plus still looks quite similar to the first generation. But, the body design is now waterproof with an IPX5 rating.
Its ability to connect to smartphone devices is also increasingly capable thanks to the adoption of Bluetooth 5.0 which supports aptX and SBC. Now, the MW07 Plus is able to connect to a smartphone up to a distance of 30 meters users with a high-resolution audio streaming.
Master & Dynamic has already started the marketing process of MW07 Plus. Taking in a number of significant updates these wireless earbuds are marketed at the same price as its predecessor at $ 299. This product is available in four different color choices and the style of the case can differ from one unit to another.
