When first introduced in 2013, the Razer Blade managed to break the assumption that gaming laptops are always thick and tacky. The manufacturers of peripherals equip their first laptop with a MacBook Pro-style design, while still pinning the specifications that are quite capable.
As the development of Razer introduces the Razer Blade gaming laptop lineup, this gaming laptop seems to be built without compromise at the right price. Before today, anyone who wants to get the Razer blade 15 will need to spend at least $ 1,900.
This price is indeed appropriate to see the price of Razer gaming laptops starting in the range of $ 1,600, the new Razer Blade 15 laptop base model is still in the process.
Razer adds its thinnest and lightest gaming laptop variant, the Razer Blade 15. Interestingly, the newest variant called the Razer Blade 15 is sold at a more affordable selling price.
Look Identical (Nope It's Complete Overhaul)
As expected, the exterior of this laptop base model looks almost identical which features the same black aluminum chassis and port, but now the Razer Blade 15 offers a new RGB one-zone keyboard.
Gamers need not worry because this keyboard also still reacts with the standard Razer Chroma for more immersive lighting effects in games, but does not provide the ability to control different keyboard zone colors separately.
Inside, the gamers will be happy to see the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, the eighth generation Intel i7 6-core CPU, and 16 GB RAM. Instead of providing an SSD drive, the Razer Blade 15 will provide a dual-storage system with a 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD, or 256GB SSD and 2TB HDD.
Razer offers a number of very attractive displays on their unit including a screen resolution of 1080p 60Hz, 1080p 144Hz, and displays 4K 60Hz.
As expected, the Razer 15 low-end Blade will feature a 1080p 60Hz screen, but the screen testing on the previous unit makes us sure that most consumers will be quite happy with this offer, not to mention a thin bezel screen.
Base vs Advance Model
With the appearance of the Razer Blade 15 (Base Model) directly the original version of the Razer Blade 15 also carries a new name, the Razer Blade 15 (Advanced Model). One feature that is immediately visible is in the presence of additional Ethernet ports on the Razer Blade 15 (Base Model).
Even though it has an additional Ethernet port, its aluminum body still looks slim with a body that is slightly more than 0.8 inches thick. Other connectivity includes 3 USB 3.1 ports, one Thunderbolt 3 / USB Type-C port, HDMI 2.0, mini DisplayPort 1.4, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
