Behind its cylindrical design, the web camera is packing a 4K Sony STARVIS CMOS sensor and multi-element lens. The lens is specially designed to be able to capture more light. Plus, the lens also supports digital zoom features up to 5x.
Dell UltraSharp Webcam is also very flexible. Equipped with a magnetic mount, users can mount it on the monitor. Or, it can also be mounted on a tripod.
Dell UltraSharp Webcam is able to offer quality image capture at 4K resolution which is above the average laptop built-in webcam, which is generally stuck at 720p HD resolution.
The company also added support for HDR features for photos and videos. Not only that but this webcam is also equipped with an infrared sensor that supports the Windows Hello feature to log into Windows by recognizing the user’s face.
Another main feature of the Dell UltraSharp Webcam is the proximity sensor. Thanks to the sensor, the webcam can detect the user’s presence. When the user is not present the camera will turn off the PC screen and turn it back on when it detects the presence of the user.
A magnetic closure feature is also available which is useful for protecting privacy. In addition, there is a noise reduction feature for clearer image capture and AI support to ensure that the user’s face is always in the center of the frame.
