Logitech Brio Ultra HD Pro: The New Benchmark For Webcams

Logitech is one of a handful of manufacturers who still pour their commitment in the webcam segment even though the market is getting smaller and smaller each year. Logitech is now introducing the most sophisticated webcam it has ever made.

Dubbed Brio Ultra HD Pro Webcams, it is claimed to be the first webcam on the market that offers 4K resolution (4096 x 2160 pixels) at 30 fps. The autofocus features are also integrated, as well as up to 5x digital zoom in full-HD resolution.

The very sharp resolution is also supported by a lens with a viewing angle of 90 degrees. Even so, users are given the freedom to choose other points of view, namely 82 and 52 degrees, with the help of the integrated software.

Physically, the design looks simple and elegant. Brio can be clipped to the monitor or mounted on a tripod. The connection can be established via USB 2.0, USB 3.0 or even USB-C, and a pair of microphones owned by noise canceling technology.

What is interesting is the addition of tech called Logitech RightLight 3 feature that supports HDR so that image quality is guaranteed in a variety of lighting conditions. Logitech also ensures its prospective buyers that Brio is compatible with almost all existing video conferencing applications, including those for business purposes.

Logitech has also embed infrared sensor-based facial recognition technology at Brio, making it compatible with the Windows Hello feature and enabling Windows login processes automatically. The users don’t need to type their password for Windows 10 since they only need to look at the BRIO lens to log in.

Logitech claims that their users can utilize BRIO with software such as Camera for Windows 10, XSplit Broadcaster, OBS, and SwiftCapture to record with resolutions up to 4K. Logitech Brio is available on the market with a price tag of $ 199.
