Design
This family house is designed with three gate-shaped frames that compose the floor, wall, and ceiling. These are also layered for each direction in tiers by 650mm. The surface outside lines of the ceiling and wall are aligned with inside lines that make external and internal eyes.
Rooms
A garden, wood deck, living room, and front room on the first floor create a straight line torward the tanada slope from the north side. This floor also connects to the reading room and dining room on the second room through the frame gap from the south side.
The gaps of the frame of the ceiling on the second ceiling become high side windows for lighting and ventilation. There are also some plastering boxes that put between frames, they are restroom, pantry, shoe closet, and so on. This design can answer all client’s requests for a comfortable family house.
Details
As the result, this house becomes “a passage of landscape” with different width of the sky, sound, wind, and light. It depends on the interior spaces inside the house and the exterior of the house that continues to the beautiful scenery.
