As the pandemic began a new phase of vaccination, carmakers are busy strategizing the best way to get the best of the condition. One of them is KIA that has slated the marketing period of the 2022 KIA Carnival.
The E-GMP platform will also feature the same 800-volt technology as the Porsche Taycan and will work with the IONITY 350kW fast-charging network.
Under the hood, KIA 2020 Telluride engine operations rely on the 3.8-liter Lambda 24 Valve DOHC V6 capacity. As an SUV, the power generated by the engine is more than enough. According to the official KIA record, the engine is capable of spitting 291 HP equivalent to 6,000 RPM with a peak torque crest of 262 Lb.ft at 5,200 RPM rotation.
According to the official record, this futuristic car can roam up to 300 Miles (~483 Km), in one full battery power. The company didn’t specify on the charging duration but the rumor claims that the HabaNiro will have level three fast charging capabilities.
This car will have a 64 kWh battery that contains a fast-charged DC charging system and is paired with an electric motor that can produce 201 HP and torque of 394 Nm. The Kia Soul EV 2020 will have 4 driving modes, namely Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Eco +.
Kia also introduced the V-Touch, a gesture-based control system that utilizes a 3D camera to monitor eye movements and passenger fingers. Thanks to the V-Touch, passengers can access various features and settings of the car without the help of buttons or touch screens at all.
